Black and White Construction LLC. was founded in 2006 by two builders with over 30 years of experience. Initially the company was geared towards buying land and building its own projects. Although successful and very profitable, the founders realized that many of the other homes being built near their projects were of marginal quality and very over priced. One of the founders, Greg Simmons, decided he wanted to move the company towards a service oriented company with the desire to build a better home that would cost less and give the customer instant equity upon completion. It was a bold move and one he would be taking on his own. The company was reorganized with full ownership resting with Greg Simmons.

Greg has been building residential and commercial buildings since 1986. He has built in California, New Mexico, and most recently here in the Houston, Texas area. He has completed over 300 structures ranging from multi-million dollar dream homes and light commercial buildings to low cost “first time ownership homes” and remodels/additions. Building homes is a passion of Greg. He likes to be hands on, working side by side with his qualified and very professional trades. Observing the happy faces of his customers moving into what was just a few months back only a dream on paper, makes each job personally fulfilling.

We have built each structure with superior products and quality of workmanship without the need to increase the price to our competitors’ levels. Building with thoughtfulness, competitive buying, and care of product has helped our team to keep cost down and then pass that savings on to our customers.

Consistently, our bids have always been lower than the competition. We work with each customer as part of the team, developing ideas and solutions that surpass expectations.
